A recent survey revealed that 46% of US workers don’t take all of their vacation time. It sounds noble, but not taking vacation negatively impacts physical and mental health, and can even impact how employees show up at work.
For leaders, the stats are even worse, with as many as 76% of executives reporting that they work while on vacation—basically defeating the purpose of “unplugging.”
